Starlore Continuum Universe

Shaun Danby June 2017

The Starlore Universe draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, RPGs such as Traveller, Films like Outland and books such as Foundation. It was hoped that this would give players plenty of scope when creating their characters. Character creation is very important in Starlore games as many of the sub-plots are influenced and in some cases driven by character histories. Having a more personal link to an in game plot means that players get far more involved with events very quickly. Character backgrounds and decisions that players made have even helped shape the story arc.

Once the final plot twists are developed additional information is often fed back to each player. The quality and quantity of this information is normally directly comparable to the information that was provided in the original character background and if anything from it could be woven into the game or not.

Games are often based around a 'now get out of that' situation where players are thrust headlong into an unforeseen chain of events. With access often afforded to the entire game site players must also be organised and on the ball to avoid being overrun.

Like it or not the characters more often find themselves in situations where their actions ultimately have an effect of galactic proportions..... This is SPACE OPERA.

After the events of 'A Late Call From Calistoga' and '2017's 'The Dark Road' Fortress Corporation is in serch of the greatest prize in the galaxy.

The Quatermass Legacy 2 - "Quantum Satis"

Shaun Danby June 2017

'The Quatermass Legacy'. Set in the near future The Quatermass Legacy will be a Live Science Fiction Role Playing Game featuring The British Rocket Group and inspired by the Quatermass TV programs written by Nigel Kneale.

It has been many years since Bernard Quatermass was killed in an accident in Wembley Stadium during the riots of the late 1970s and the British Rocket Group have  seemed to be on the verge of putting the UK ahead in the Space Race as they not only set up an unmanned habitat on Mars but the Q3 spacecraft named Galahad returned to Earth in the same time it took an American mission mission just the trip to the red planet. Galahad however returned with Alien spoor that threatened all life on Earth. As the BRG battled to save the Earth little did they realise that they had played right into the hands of arch criminal 'Merlin'. Merlin had one final surprise that would shock the BRG to the core.
